As a former Chrysler Technician and successful racer for 25 years, Maichle believed that performance should also be reliable. And, as performance pushed the limits of the factory Gen III Hemi engine blocks, there were no upgrade options available...
After learning of a casting that Bill Mitchell had done in 2009 but hadn't finished, Maichle and Schwartz teamed up to work with Mitchell and develop aftermarket Gen III Hemi engine blocks to meet the needs of street and racing enthusiasts.
Now, Gen3 Performance Products' Gen III Hemi water-cooled aluminum engine blocks are rated to support up to 2,000 horsepower while its solid cast aluminum Gen III Hemi engines can handle up to 3,000 horsepower!
