P1™ Connecting Rod Bolts

  • P1 PART #: RBC7H
  • Specs: 7/16-20 x 1.60" UHL, H260 SERIES (260,000psi)
  • RECOMMENDED BOLT STRETCH = .0063" - .0068"

Tightening Instructions: If using a torque input tightening strategy, use only P1 TorquePoint assembly lube:

  1. Tighten to 20-22 ft lbs
  2. Tighten to 85-87 ft lbs

Note: If bolt stretch does not achieve proper range, loosen bolt, re-lube and begin again.

***Connecting rod threads and bolt threads must be clean before assembly. Do not use bolts to pull caps into position. Use P1 TorquePoint lube under head and on threads during assembly***

  1. Tighten to 20-22 ft lbs
  2. Tighten to 76-78 ft lbs

Note: If bolt stretch does not achieve proper range, loosen bolt, re-lube and begin again.
